Heritage

Things in Context

We focus on African heritage from a cultural perspective. Our interest lies in the aspects of tradition, norms, customs and religion.

On the religous side, we focus exclusively on the indegenous African religion, Setho/Isintu.

We do not follow the academic path of seeking to intellectualise our heritage. We all know that our heritage is lived and practiced daily by our people. Our approach is therefore practical in that what we write about is what our people practice in normal life. We take no interest in academic research.

Networks

Our goal has always been to establish networks dedicated to all indegenous languages in South Africa. Our biggest objective is the development of our languages, hence we seek to have all our networks published in our local languages.

So far, we have the Basotho and amaXhosa networks running. We are hoping to establish a Zulu network in the near future.

In short, we are interested in nalane or inkcubeko.
